Water Sports Taster Day.

28th May
10.00 am – 2.00 pm

The Club will be providing information and offering taster sailing sessions with the aim of promoting our amazing seaside and the many water activities available to our
community. This will include stand up paddle boarding (SUP), kayaking, swimming and rowing. An RNLI representative will provide sea safety information and
undertake a life jacket check.

Registered for the World Women’s Sailing festival the Club will be promoting female participation and also the nationwide RYA
Discover Sailing initiative.

Important information.

Children must be older than five. Younger children must be accompanied by an adult and must be able to fit into our smallest size of buoyancy aid. Additionally, sailing with younger children is dependent on the conditions and at the discretion of the boat helms.

Please bring clothes you don’t mind getting wet in, particularly your shoes. We also recommend bringing some warm clothing, even if it is a hot day. It’s often a bit colder out at sea.

As the event is very weather dependent we do not take bookings. We run on a first come first serve basis and so all you have to do is turn up.
