Race Officer Training

Powerboat Pre-season Refresher
Members were taken through procedures for powerboat duties. Our PB Instructors covered topics ranging from preparing to launch and recovery of the power boat, to rescuing disabled craft, laying marks and emergency equipment on board. Special thanks to everyone who made the day possible and enjoyable despite the fierce wind.

May 2026 Sail Training
RYA Level 1 & 2 combined sailing course. This is a 6 day course with the first 4 days being run at Buzz Active in Eastbourne. These days will take place either on a lake or on the sea, depending on conditions, and consist of the training required to achieve a Level 2. Sea Week 2025
Sea Week 2025 runs from the 18th - 22nd August. Activities have been planned on and off the water all week. There is free club boat hire and friends and family welcome all week. September 2025 Sail Training
We're now taking bookings for our September RYA Level 1/2 Sail Training. This 4 day course will be run at Buzz Active in Eastbourne. The course will take place either on a lake or on the sea, depending on conditions, Trainees then return to Hastings & St Leonards SC for the remainder of the season. Please be aware that sailing is a physical sport and you are likely to fall in the water

Open Day - Discover Sailing - 2025
